Signs & Symptoms

While some cases of testicular cancer manage to go undetected for quite some time, many patients tend to experience signs and symptoms that indicate something may be wrong. 

The following are classic signs and symptoms of testicular cancer:

• Changes in the physical appearance of the testicles

  • Swelling

  • Enlargement in one or both testicles

  • Changes in the appearance of evenness 

• Painless lumps or swelling in the testicles

  • One or multiple lumps

  • One or both testicles

• Dull, aching pain in the groin and/or abdomen

• Discomfort and/or pain in the scrotum or in a testicle

• Fluid buildup in the scrotum

  • With Swelling

  • A feeling of heaviness in the scrotum

• Back pain

Many symptoms related to testicular cancer are often a result of something other than cancer. Regardless, it is important to see your doctor immediately if you notice one or more of these signs or symptoms, or anything unusual, so the cause can be found and treated if needed
